This will be the student's very first introduction to the Italian language at a basic level. Small, intimate classroom sizes taught by mother-language instructors will make the task of learning expressions for simple interactions easy and fun. The topics covered in this course include formal and informal greetings, conversation starting, basic phone etiquette, counting to 100 and telling the time.  Students will feel comfortable in a conversational context where the other speaker speaks slowly and is prepared to cooperate. No previous knowledge of Italian is required.
