Evviva il congiuntivo! A tutorial to review and practice the subjunctive

Who said the congiuntivo was in decline?  The Italian subjunctive is a favourite among students, and this tutorial for five one-hour sessions will review and deconstruct this modo verbale.  The construction and uses of the four tenses of the subjunctive will be reviewed, as well as their accompanying conjunctions and the agreement of tenses.  Our focus will be on how the individual perceives the “necessity” of the congiuntivo and how to better integrate this structure into your spoken Italian.

Materials will be provided by the instructor.

Tutorial is composed of 5 one-hour meetings from January 19 to February 16, 2023

This course will be followed by Preposizioni e pronomi, a tutorial  from February 23 to March 23. Registration is now open.

IMPORTANT - New students at the Istituto must complete the placement test before registering for this class.  The purpose of this test is to ensure students are taking the correct course based on their assessed level.  Returning students are not required to take  this test.
