Club di lettura aims to engage students in an informal discussion and bring the Italian learners community together by creating a stimulating space where people can discuss each week’s chapters while practicing the language.
This summer we will explore together Amara Lakhous' award-winning novel: Scontro di civiltà per un ascensore a Piazza Vittorio.
This novel is animated by a style that is as colorful as the neighborhood it describes and is characterized by the cinematic tradition of the Commedia all' italiana.
During our meetings each participant will read aloud selected passages of the book, and will be encouraged to ask questions about parts they have found more interesting or challenging to read. This is also a great opportunity to practice new vocabulary and new idioms to expand your ability to state your ideas in Italian and develop conversation skills.
For students who have completed level B1.1
