THE ITALIAN SCHOOL OF THE ISTITUTO ITALIANO DI CULTURA DI TORONTO

This the first course of the intermediate B1 level and it is intended to all those who have already student Italian and have complete the A2 level.  After a brief review of the grammar studied in A2 (introduction to present subjunctive, comparative, etc.) students will be introduced to present. In this course students will be introduced to the following grammatical elements: deep dive into present subjunctive, introduction to past perfect, pronominal verbs, absolute superlative.

By learning the vocabulary introduced in chapters 0, 1, and 2 of the textbook Al Dente 3, students will be encouraged to talk about their own knowledge of Italian language and culture, express their own feelings and moods, talk about their favourite music genres, relate their experiences in sports and express their opinions on the value of sport and exercise.
