COURSE DESCRIPTION

Upper Intermediate 3 | B2.3

This > is designed for students at an upper-intermediate level who wish to refine their understanding of Italian grammar and expand their vocabulary. In this course, students will study the use of ci and ne in greater depth, the past gerund, combined pronouns, and if-clauses. Using vocabulary from chapters 6 and 7 of Al Dente 4, students will be encouraged to discuss natural phenomena, explore topics related to nature and eco-sustainability, consider different cultural perspectives, and formulate hypotheses.

Syllabus Upper-Intermediate 3:

In this course, the following elements will be introduced:

• In-depth use of ci and ne
• Past gerund (gerundio passato)
• Combined pronouns (pronomi combinati)
• Conditional sentences (if-clauses)
• Vocabulary from chapters 6 and 7 of Al Dente 4

Course duration:        2.5-hour lessons once a week for 10 weeks

New students must take a placement test to register for this course.
