COURSE DESCRIPTION

Elementary 1 | A2.1

The course Elementary 1 is for all those students who have studied Italian and have completed the A1* level. After a brief review of the A1 level contents, students, through learning the vocabulary presented in chapters 0,1,2 and 3 of the “Al dente” manual, will be encouraged to describe objects and situations, express agreement and disagreement, and make comparisons.

Syllabus: In this course the following topics will be introduced:

• Direct objective pronouns
• Indefinite pronouns and adjectives
• “Ne” partitivo
• Comparison of majority and minority
• Imperfect tense (notes, chapter 3 to page 57)

New students must take a placement test to register for this course.
