COURSE DESCRIPTION

Intermediate 2 | B1.2

This course is designed for intermediate students who are already familiar with standard verb tenses and basic subjunctive forms . In this course, students will deepen their understanding of pronominal verbs and be introduced to the past subjunctive, future perfect, combined pronouns, and the gerund. By learning the vocabulary presented in chapters 3, 4, and 5 students will be able to practice discussing art, the natural environment, scientific news, and personal culinary preferences.

Syllabus Intermediate 2 – In this course, the following elements will be introduced:

• Pronominal verbs in depth
• Past subjunctive (congiuntivo passato)
• Future perfect (futuro anteriore)
• Combined pronouns (pronomi combinati)
• Gerund (gerundio)
• Vocabulary from chapters 3, 4, and 5 of Al Dente 3

Course duration:        2.5-hour lessons once a week for 10 weeks

New students must take a placement test to register for this course.
