COURSE DESCRIPTION

Intermediate 3 | B1.3

This course is intended for students at an intermediate level who are comfortable with standard verb tenses and subjunctive forms. Students will learn the imperfect subjunctive (congiuntivo imperfetto), if-clauses, the past conditional, and indirect speech. By incorporating vocabulary from chapters 6 and 7 of Al Dente 3, students will practice talking about work experiences, historical events, personal desires, and formulating hypotheses.

Syllabus Intermediate 3. In this course, the following elements will be introduced:

• Imperfect subjunctive (congiuntivo imperfetto)
• Conditional sentences (if-clauses)
• Past conditional (condizionale passato)
• Indirect speech (discorso indiretto)
• Vocabulary from chapters 6 and 7 of Al Dente 3

Course duration:        2.5-hour lessons once a week for 10 weeks

New students must take a placement test to register for this course.
