The course Elementary 1 is for all those students who have studied Italian and have completed the A1* level. After a brief review of the A1 level contents, students, through learning the vocabulary presented in the “Al Dente” manual, will be encouraged to describe objects and situations, express agreement and disagreement, and make comparisons.

THIS COURSE TAKES PLACE ONLINE 

Courses begin on January 11, 2025 and following days.
Individual start dates depend on the course time slot selected, see below.

IMPORTANT: Each  student is asked to create their own account and register individually, please no purchasing of multiple units of the same course for different students.  

REQUIRED TEXTBOOK: Al Dente 2 - available from an external supplier

Course features:

  • 2.5 hour classes each week for 10 weeks, total
  • Small class sizes of maximum 9 students
  • Our courses follow the Common European Framework set by the European Council
  • Highly qualified professional teachers with significant experience in teaching Italian as a second language. 
IMPORTANT - New students at the Istituto must complete the placement test before registering for this class.  The purpose of this test is to ensure students are taking the correct course based on their assessed level.  Returning students are not required to take  this test.
