The Italian Book Club will delve into Amara Lakhous' award-winning novel Scontro di civiltà per un ascensore a Piazza Vittorio.

During the first meeting, the instructor will introduce the book and provide some background on the author. Participants will then take turns reading selected passages aloud. 
As the group reads, the instructor will highlight and explain key elements of the book's grammar, language structures, and vocabulary. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions about any passages they find challenging.
In subsequent meetings, discussions will center around the book's characters, plot, themes, style, and the overall reading experience. The instructor will guide these conversations with thought-provoking questions, encouraging everyone to share their insights and reflections.
